We use a numbered line system. Each client's tax docs are numbered when they come in the door, it is first come first serve. Those dropping off at our office will use the red numbered stickers at the drop box, we also use the same numbered stickers for those uploading, emailing and faxing docs. We number them exactly in the order they are received, one number is provided per client and this is your place in line. Our number stickers are available mid Jan - Apr 15th -- after that we number them in the office for you, they are removed from the dropbox.

We keep our clients updated daily during tax season (Jan - Apr 15th) on what numbers are being worked for the day.  

During peak season our drop off line runs 10 - 14 days from drop, we have a large client base and work as quickly as possible. The sooner you get your tax docs in line the better. Earlier in the season our line is quicker and gets slower as business returns come in later. We work both personal and business taxes. We do know everyone wants their refunds quickly. We strive to be as quick as possible and have switched to an all drop off system for less distractions and quicker turn around for everyone. 

We are always just a phone call or email away. If you have any questions at all please reach out to us. As your return is being worked, our staff will be in contact with you during the entire process and Amy will review your returns with you when they are done.  Our drop is the same as a face to face but the contact will be via phone, email or text to more effectively deal with mass clientele in a short time frame.

1. We need a copy of your previous years tax returns -- you can drop off, email or secure upload. Our email and secure upload info can be found below. If dropping off your original copy, it will be returned to you upon completion of your taxes.

2. Please fill out the New Client Personal Info Organizer and turn in with your tax docs. Click below to get the organizer

Need help on what is needed to prepare your taxes, scroll up to Tax Organizers. We offer several organizers to help you get your tax docs in order. 

Our secure drop box is located on the southside of our building, at the glass front door. It is a big RED box marked drop box. Jan - Apr, place a red numbered sticker on your docs before dropping in the slot. This number is your place in line. After peak tax season, we will assign a number internally. Your docs fall safely inside our building. 

You can take pics of your docs with your phone or tablet and upload directly to our portal. Have your docs scanned on your PC, just drag and drop to the portal. We will confirm receipt of your upload and give you your number in line. If you do not hear from us within 24 hrs, please contact us via phone 712.256.2611 or email info@vancetaxservice.com to confirm receipt of your docs.
